June 26 - 27

Location: Carrollton Fire Department Training Center, Josey Lane next to Newman Smith High School, near the base of the Water Tower.
Time: Saturday 10am - Sunday 12 Noon times are somewhat flexible based on forecast high temperatures - set may begin earlier
Operations: Talk in will be on the 145.210 repeater
2M/70cm - GOTA station
20M - Beam
40M/80M - Dipole
6M/80M - Vertical
6M/80M - Buddipole in either vertical or dipole
10M/80M - Windom
We will be working the lower and upper parts of the bands as permitted. Frequency coordination will be required. Logging software will be used. The MARS club call, KB5A, will be used for all "contesting" contacts.
Modes: Voice - Any open band
PSK31 - 20M and 40 M Using Ham Radio Deluxe
CW - Any open band using MFJ 464 keyer / reader with PC keyboard / Bencher key input and digital display output. Mentors are needed to help with CW
Equipment: We have the antennas for the bands above. You should notify KD5YPB if you have additional antennas or radios you would like to use.
Refreshments: Cold water and a limited selection of soft drinks during the day. 6 pm Dinner - Hamburgers etc. PLEASE notify KD5YPB on or before 6/25 by email if you plan to attend the evening meal so we can plan quantities.
